Introducing the D2; a walk-away ELISA processing system, designed specifically to deliver improved reliability, accuracy, security, and productivity. The D2 represents a major leap forward in electro-mechanics and software design. Reliable, cost-effective, easy to use and maintain, the D2 packs amazing automation power in the smallest footprint available.
Automation made easy
The system is designed with full walk-away capability that quickly and easily processes two 96-well microplates and up to 12 different assays simultaneously. It features the most user-friendly control system available, chain of custody, and instrument diagnostics. The D2 delivers sample-in/results-out automation of microplate assays:
An open system, the D2 is ideal for virtually any ELISA application in clinical diagnostics, such as autoimmune and infectious disease. Most important, the D2 has all that is required to ensure the rigorous, repeatable analyses required to deliver with confidence the best, most-accurate results.
The D2 was designed for efficiency and reliability. The system has minimal moving parts, one multi-function robot arm does everything from pipetting to operating the bar-code reader. The D2 is space saving features of the vertical design and patent-pending multi-plate carrier give this system a minimal footprint, with maximum consumable storage.
Key to the development of the system was the creation of the DS-Matrix™ software. Feature-rich and groundbreaking in its process simulation and ease of use, the DS-Matrix™ permits rapid integration of automation in the lab. The simple, graphical user-interface allows any lab technician to use the D2 with minimal training.
The assay writer, with drag-and-drop icons, walks you through the entire programming process, prompting you step by step, making assay set-up simple. The D2 monitors for errors and will inform immediately should any occur.
No need to waste precious reagents or consumables with multiple test runs to validate an assay. Activate the process simulator, and the system shows you a full animation of the assay steps outlined. Adjustments to any assay parameter can be visualized in the software before any change is implemented.
Once you begin running your assay, the process timeline and simulator show you exactly where you are and how much time you have left.
Powerful data-reduction options
The include among others (a) Sigmoid, polygon fit (e) Levey-Jennings charts with Westgard rules (b) Linear, quadratic, cubic, and quartic-regression fits (f) Thresholding for qualitative assays (c) Cubic-spline, sigmoid, akima and loglogit fits (g) Ratio equations for complex calculations (d) Automatic quality-control quations
The D2 signals if action is required, for example, to add more reagents or wash fluids. The system can be set up to give audible alarm, and/or send email outlining the problem. Integrated self-diagnostics make troubleshooting straightforward.
